             New social media is beneficial for creativity because of its convenience. People can access it easily and rapidly. People are free to express themselves and exchange their ideas on it. And usually, there is no cost for people to use the build in function in social media. New social media provides people with a large framework and allows them to fill it with new ideas. Take Twitch as an instance. Twitch is a live streaming video platform. When streamer is on live, people are talking in the chat room. Usually, people will not type too many words in the chat, because the screen will keep rolling up and streamer doesn’t have enough time to read it line by line. In most cases, they use meme sticker to express the same meaning of their words. So, more and more stickers are created. Twitch implements a new function to allow user to save new stickers. During the stream, there must be one or more interesting moments. Sometimes, streamer and audience want to review the funny moment but they can’t remember when it is. So, Twitch implements a function to allow audience to capture a short video from the stream to record the moment. Then users are easy to find and review it. The more interactions users have with social media, the more demands they have. Users are always good at discovering new things. Mr. Williams said, “You get a bunch of users interacting and it’s hard to predict what they’re going to do.” Social media needs to build a closed relationship with users and understand what they need. In order to retain user, new social media keeps upgrading its product and service to satisfy user. In other words, creativity relies on demand.
