A Twitter discussion is different from a blackboard discussion. We feel a little serious when we have a blackboard discussion because it looks like a little formal and academic. We need to be careful about the way we talk, think and write in the discussion. Unlike the blackboard discussion, twitter discussion gives us a little more room and freedom. We are free to use some appropriate internet phrases to help to express our thoughts. A Twitter discussion will be more interesting and less stressful than a blackboard discussion.

Compared with an in-class discussion, a Twitter discussion can provide us with more flexibility. We can share our thoughts through Twitter whenever we want or wherever we are. We don't have to meet people in person. However, an in-class discussion offers a directive and interactive way for people to communicate with each other. We don't need to wait for people responding to our tweet. In an in-class discussion, we can deliver information and receive information from people in a straightforward and efficient way.

        The new media provides us with a lot of conveniences in our daily lives.
